About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to drive our growth in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver AI/ML solutions to our clients.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for AI/ML-driven renewable energy solutions.

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies targeting IPPs, utilities, energy traders, and regulators.

  • Conduct market research on trends, regulations, and AI/ML applications in renewables.

  • Build and maintain relationships with renewable energy developers, utilities, and large-scale energy buyers.

  • Drive revenue growth by managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor AI/ML solutions to customer needs.

  • Create business proposals, pitch decks, and demos for clients and stakeholders.

  • Establish strategic partnerships with technology providers and energy marketplaces.

  • Represent the company at industry events and engage with regulatory bodies to align with compliance standards.

  • Understand client goals and ensure AI/ML solutions deliver value and seamless adoption.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy within renewable energy, AI/ML, or digital energy.

  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML applications in energy trading, asset performance, and forecasting.

  • Experience selling digital energy solutions (ETRM, SCADA, predictive analytics, IoT, cloud platforms).

  • Ability to explain AI/ML solutions to non-technical stakeholders and strong sales/negotiation skills.

  • Familiarity with SaaS-based AI/ML models and data-driven decision-making tools.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
