GCP Data Engineer Position

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to fill a key position in our organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and deploying data pipelines, orchestrating workflows, and managing datasets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Develop and implement workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze and process large datasets using ETL techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and create comprehensive documentation for data components.

Requirements:

  • At least 6+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in cloud-based systems.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with APIs and their integration with data systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mastery of data engineering tools and technologies including Pyspark, Dataflows, Dataproc, and Big Query.
