Job Title: US F&A Ledger Accountant

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Ledger Accountant with expertise in US F&A General Ledger for the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end close tasks for US F&A GL, including submission of Borrowing Compliance and Ratio Analysis reports.
  • Prepare monthly financial accounts in line with SOPs and processes guidelines.
  • Annual Accounts and Finalization of Accounts of Group Companies and the Consolidated Accounts for the Company in accordance with US GAAP standards.
  • Conduct monthly consolidation of the group companies' financial data.
  • Coordinate with auditors for interim and final audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Implement suitable internal control systems to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide regular financial updates to top management on a monthly basis as needed.
  • Analyze cash flow and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate analysis to management based on monthly financial statements.
  • Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts regularly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Well-organized with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with management and colleagues in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, including task prioritization, deadline management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Exhibits good judgment and problem-solving skills with adaptive approaches.
  • Ability to manage work with offshore teams efficiently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 to 5 years of experience preferably from Big 4 firms.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting roles.
  • Work experience in Staffing & IT software companies is a plus but not mandatory.
