Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to fill this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Scripting: Translate test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API tests, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Coding Standards: Adhere to established coding standards and guidelines defined for automation, guaranteeing consistency across all projects.
  • Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server environment, identifying and reporting defects efficiently.
  • Testing Expertise: Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing, leveraging your knowledge to improve overall quality and efficiency.
  • Debugging: Possess a deep understanding of web-based architecture and be able to debug any web or server error, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Integration Testing: Understand functional, database, sanity, functional, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently, adhering to Scrum guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Code Review: Review code and fix any issues identified in scheduled automation runs, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of script failures and logged bugs, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Defect Tracking: Submit and track automation-identified defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate and follow up on all blocking issues and issue deviations from SOPs, maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.
  • Process Knowledge: Possess excellent knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes, applying this expertise to drive process improvements and enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge in automation testing.
  • Good experience in C#.
  • Experience in testing web services and Rest APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with services testing tools like Fiddler, Soap UI, Postman, Protractor, and Playwright.
