Eye Care Professional Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking patient histories involves evaluating their systemic and ocular health.

  • Ocular biometry and other investigations such as OCT scans, FFA, fundus photography, and LASER treatments are conducted.
  • The eye care professional assists in laser surgery operations and premium IOL/LASIK workups.
  • Training students, patient counseling, follow-ups, and camp screenings are part of the responsibilities.
  • Data entry into electronic medical records and equipment maintenance are ensured.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Optometry is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in eye care is necessary.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills are essential for this role.
  • The ability to independently manage eye care services and work across different locations is expected.
