Key Role Summary

This leadership role spearheads the creation and execution of Management Development Centers (MDCs), Assessment Centers, and Capability Building Frameworks aligned with business objectives across multiple manufacturing locations in India.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a pan-India Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with business transformation and growth goals.
  • Spearhead the establishment and operationalization of Management Development Centres and Assessment Centres for leadership pipeline development.
  • Drive organizational capability building across technical, behavioral, and leadership domains to enhance talent readiness.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Design and deploy solutions to address learning needs identified by plant heads, functional leaders, and HRBPs.
  2. Act as a change agent for cultural transformation and continuous learning initiatives.
  3. Leverage AI and analytics for measuring learning impact and personalization.

Talent Acquisition and Development

  • Develop and execute succession planning frameworks and high-potential talent programs to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Create customized learning journeys for different employee segments, from shop floor to senior leadership.

Learning Infrastructure and Innovation

  • Integrate digital learning platforms across locations to facilitate seamless access to learning resources.
  • Promote blended learning models including e-learning, workshops, simulations, and on-the-job training.

Governance and ROI

  • Establish KPIs for learning effectiveness and report outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and industry-specific training mandates.

Desired Profile

  • MSW/MBA / PGDM in HR or Organizational Development from a Tier 1/2 institute.
  • 10–18 years of experience in L&D, with at least 5 years in automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience in setting up MDCs/Assessment Centers and leading capability building programs.
