Network Administrator Role

The Network Administrator role is a key position within the semi-government company's network team, responsible for managing the entire data center infrastructure.

This position involves overseeing CCIL IFSC Data Centres and production support of critical applications working from DCs.

The candidate must be involved in new projects/requirements related to network and security from design phase, procurement, and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network and security infrastructure, prior experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting in network and security devices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining 100% uptime of CCIL IFSC DC; WAN and LAN network
  • Managing entire Network and Security infrastructure of CCIL IFSC Data Centre as well as LAN
  • Supporting BCP drills
  • Defining network and security policies, procedures and RARTPs

The candidate should also be prepared to stretch and extend beyond normal working hours/days as a call of duty.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in network administration
  • Strong understanding of network and security infrastructure
  • Prior experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting in network and security devices
  • Knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching (IOS XE, Cat-OS and NX-OS)
  • Knowledge of Cisco Firewalls/Proxy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA / CCNP-Routing & Switching certification
  • CCNA- Security certification
