Program Director Leader

This role oversees strategic portfolio management with accountability for multi-year roadmaps, stakeholder engagement, and delivering value through global collaboration.

  • Manages multiple small-scale programs with well-defined plans and delivery methodologies.
  • Leads large-scale, cross-functional initiatives ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and scope alignment.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee end-to-end program lifecycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams including Design and Quality to ensure project success and business goals.
  3. Develop and manage portfolio-level AOP/budget. Budget accountability at the portfolio level. Lead financial planning: forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  4. Serve as a key liaison between Operating Units and global teams.
  5. Present analysis and updates to senior leadership.
  6. Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and deployment. Lead simplification initiatives.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure end products or processes solve business problems.
  8. Recommend new policies and procedures affecting program management.
  9. Modify program management processes to improve program efficiency.
  10. Demonstrate exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiation, managing change, goal setting, teamwork, conflict resolution, resource constraint, and problem-solving.
  11. Apply structured methods DRM.

Digital Automated Dashboard Expertise:

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI for tracking program performance, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, visualize data insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ensure dashboards align with executive reporting needs, providing real-time visibility into program health and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Masters/Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline with software experience.
  • 18+ years of IT experience with 10+ years of project management experience in Medical Devices.
  • Hands-on experience architecting complex dashboards using Power BI/other tools.
  • Certifications PMP/equivalent, CSM, SAFe/RTE, or ART Experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification beneficial.
  • Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies expertise.
  • Familiarity with Med tech product/software/R&D, product development, and clinical/regulatory processes (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485).
  • Strong written/oral communication skills and ability to influence customers.
  • Independent thinker able to take commercial/operational views of complex situations.
