  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization, developing robust internal policies and procedures.
  4. Statutory Filings: Ensure timely filing of regulatory documents and returns with authorities like the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
  5. Responding to Regulators: Promptly address queries, notices, and summons issued by stock exchanges, SEBI, and other regulatory authorities.
  6. Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure continuous adherence to regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Qualifications: A mandatory qualified Company Secretary (CS). A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior compliance, corporate secretarial, or governance role, preferably in a listed company handling M&A compliance.
  • Legal & Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of regulatory filings and procedures with authorities like the MCA, ROC, SEBI, and RBI.
