Job Title: Digital Collections Team Leader

Reporting to the Digital Collections Manager or Assistant Manager, this leadership role oversees a team of digital collections agents.

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of professionals to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Regularly conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Create an inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and high-performance standards. Monitor team progress, ensuring adherence to quality requirements and compliance protocols.
    • Team members should be able to lead, motivate, develop and support the growth and development of their team members in order to drive results for the business. This is achieved by fostering a positive and supportive team culture where everyone feels valued, respected and empowered to perform at their best.
  • Digital Campaigns:
    • Develop and execute effective digital campaigns across multiple channels such as email, SMS, social media, and chat. Analyze campaign data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and enhance recovery rates. Utilize data analytics to segment customer portfolios and tailor communication approaches. Collaborate with the analytics team to create and refine digital collections models.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale digital campaigns, including developing campaign strategies, optimizing campaign execution, and analyzing campaign results to improve future campaign performance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Produce accurate and timely reports using Microsoft Excel to track team performance, analyze campaign outcomes, and present comprehensive findings. Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management and clients using PowerPoint. Analyze data to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements and strategic improvements.
    • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as being able to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Client Relationships:
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, and providing regular updates on collection performance. Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external partners. Present insights and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, as well as negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
    • Identify and implement process efficiencies to streamline digital operations. Ensure all collections activities align with regulatory requirements and company policies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in digital collections and customer engagement.
    • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to change and navigate ambiguity are also desired.
