Industrial Project Coordinator

We are seeking a diligent and proactive coordinator to support senior project managers in the execution of industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports, charts, and project documentation to facilitate decision-making and communication among team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate design and engineering between different disciplines and perform clash checks for PEB, civil works, piping, ducts, and openings.
  • Develop preliminary schedules, bar charts, catch-up plans, and look-ahead schedules to monitor project progress and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Assist in cost estimating, tendering processes, and tender documentation to ensure accurate budgeting and compliance with industry standards.
  • Expedite and follow up on submissions, resolving queries proactively to minimize delays.
  • Track and report potential or actual project conflicts to the project manager for timely resolution.
  • Prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action points to maintain transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's in Construction/Project Management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project or construction management within consultancy or construction organizations.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in industrial construction projects.
  • Basic understanding of cost estimation, tendering, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in preparing schedules, bar charts, and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up abilities to remove bottlenecks and expedite progress.
