We are seeking a highly experienced IAM Support Engineer to fill this role.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide operational support for IBM ISIM (IBM Security Identity Manager) and IBM TDI (IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator) systems.

They will troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to ISIM/TDI environments, both in production and non-production setups.

Responsibilities include managing identity lifecycle operations, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access control, and identity governance.

The ideal candidate will conduct regular health checks and monitoring of ISIM/TDI systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

They will support integration with various systems and applications, ensuring secure and efficient flow of identity and access data.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with upgrades, patches, and deployments to ensure systems are up to date.

The selected candidate will work closely with development and security teams to identify and implement improvements to the ISIM/TDI systems.

Collaboration with customers is essential to understand their business requirements and recommend identity management solutions.

The successful candidate will document solutions, issues, and workarounds to build a knowledge base for the team and customers.

Support and troubleshooting of user authentication issues, Single Sign-On (SSO), and integration with LDAP/Active Directory are also required.

Issue resolution must be timely and efficient in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience working with IBM ISIM (IBM Security Identity Manager) and IBM TDI (IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IBM ISIM and TDI environments.
  • Strong understanding of identity management concepts, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), SSO, and governance.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and other directory services.
  • Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST) and experience with integration protocols.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and tools in identity management.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
