Job Overview:

We are seeking an Equity Market Research Specialist to join our Asia ex Japan Equity Strategy research team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior analysts in generating and analyzing investment ideas
  • Contribute to the development of financial/quantitative models and strategies for the team
  • Assist in writing research reports and building marketing presentations
  • Monitor regional/global news flow and its impact on equities
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and respond to requests from internal and external clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, CA or MBA with a strong analytical background
  • Experience in equity/credit/quantitative research or demonstrated interest in pursuing financial markets research
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PPT and programming skills in VBA, R, or Python
  • Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg, Factset, Thomson Reuters/Eikon
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail
