Summary

As a Senior Trust Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities. Your primary goal is to ensure compliance with international trust concepts and regulations.

You will be responsible for communicating effectively with clients and relevant authorities to maintain adherence to applicable legislation.

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities, preparing necessary legal documents for routine matters.
  • Regularly review each entity by collaborating with clients, trustees, intermediaries, and legal counsel.
  • Be ultimately accountable for the quality of client files, handling legal, regulatory, and trust matters related to your managed portfolio.
  • Develop and implement pragmatic solutions and provide legal analysis for establishing trust and commercial structures that align with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing operational risk, service level agreements, and coordination of deliverables.
  • Ensure consistency with our organization's 4-Pillar approach, particularly in areas of compliance, legal services, corporate services, transaction monitoring, tax, and transparency.
  • Achieve financial chargeability targets and manage transactions, pricing, invoicing, and payment issues.
  • Anticipate and address emerging regulatory, taxation, or legal changes to minimize compliance-related risks.
Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree and professional qualifications in trust and estate law.
  • STEP qualification in trust and tax would be highly advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with trust/estate law, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen, initiative, positivity, proactivity, dedication, focus, and revenue-driven characteristics.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills, including well-developed spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
