Accountant Role

We are seeking an analytical Accountant to join our Finance team. The main focus is on Revenue Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, and supporting Month-End Close processes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, and prior experience in general ledger management.

  • Responsible for revenue recognition and accounting in compliance with US GAAP/applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare and submit general ledger entries with supporting documentation.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor appropriate financial policies, controls, and processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in the accounting domain
  • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • Strong technology skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Working experience in Sage Intacct is a plus
  • Flexibility to work in UK/US time zone
  • Prior experience working with third-party client set-ups
  • Experience managing project work with tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
