Senior Executive Coding Auditor

  • We are seeking an experienced coding auditor to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth reviews of medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of medical records to identify areas of non-compliance.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of audit findings into daily operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise in coding and auditing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business administration).
  • Current certification as a coder or auditor (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA).
  • 3+ years of experience in coding or auditing, preferably in a hospital or health system setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and address process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Auditing experience, particularly in complex surgery coding.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).]
