Job Title: Statutory Auditor

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Auditor to join our team in Chennai. As a key member of our audit team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive audit plans addressing scope, objectives, budgeted hours, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines.
  • Conducting thorough audits, meeting all objectives, and maintaining effective communication with clients through regular meetings and progress updates.
  • Optimizing assignments to enhance efficiency and managing audits within allocated time and resources.
  • Ensuring that all findings and issues are thoroughly documented and closeout procedures are completed.
  • Gathering and analyzing data to inform recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintaining strong relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • Providing expert advice on control enhancements.
  • Demonstrating adaptability in ambiguous and dynamic environments while working independently.
  • Displaying a solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act.
  • Able to think critically, visualize different scenarios, and make informed decisions based on analysis and logical reasoning.

Requirements:

  • Semi-qualified CA with experience in statutory auditing during articleship.
  • Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards.
  • Strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application.
