Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Lead

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to lead our VAPT initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spearheading security assessments across web, mobile, APIs, networks, cloud platforms, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive VAPT strategies, methodologies, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, review technical deliverables, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Risk Identification: Identify security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and risks through manual and automated testing.
  • Threat Modeling: Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to prioritize testing efforts.
  • Report Development: Create detailed reports on risk severity and recommended mitigations for stakeholders.
  • Remediation Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Industry Staying Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and threat intelligence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years focused on VAPT.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Qualys, Nikto, Wireshark, etc.
  • Expertise in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, mobile apps, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience in secure code review and reverse engineering is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, or CISSP are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing or mentoring VAPT teams.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and audits (e.g., GDPR, RBI, ISO, etc.).
  • Cloud security experience (AWS/GCP/Azure certifications are a plus).
