Cybersecurity Specialist

National healthcare providers are seeking seasoned cybersecurity experts to safeguard sensitive data, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and strengthen their security posture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in threat management, data protection, cloud security, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, frameworks, and controls to protect enterprise-wide assets.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats and incidents using SIEM and SOC processes.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, red teaming, blue teaming, and purple teaming exercises to identify weaknesses.
  • Perform digital forensics, root cause analysis, and incident response lifecycle management.
  • Define and enforce policies for data privacy, identity and access management, and data loss prevention.
  • Secure infrastructure across network, endpoint, application, database, and cloud environments.
  • Implement security controls for cloud services, containers, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Manage and tune security tools such as firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, CASB, and DDoS protection.
  • Ensure compliance with IRDAI, RBI, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and SOC2 regulations.
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery from a security standpoint.
  • Drive security awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
  • Certifications in CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CEH, OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, ISO 27001 LA/LI, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership capability for senior roles.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to handle high-pressure security incidents and provide timely resolution.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to adapt to changing security landscape.
  • Continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Network security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, zero trust, SD-WAN, and NAC.
  • Endpoint security: EDR/XDR solutions, antivirus software, and patch management.
  • Application security: OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, RASP, API security, and secure coding practices.
  • Cloud security: CSPM, CWPP, CASB, and secure configuration of AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud services.
  • Identity and access management: IAM, PAM, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Data protection: DLP solutions, encryption, key management, tokenization, and backup and recovery procedures.
  • Security operations: SIEM, SOAR, threat hunting, and SOC operations.
  • Threat and vulnerability management: vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and bug bounty programs.
  • Incident response and forensics: EnCase, FTK, Volatility, Wireshark, memory forensics, and incident response planning.
  • DevSecOps: container scanning, CI/CD pipeline security, IaC scanning, and serverless security.
