Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Graphic Design Team Lead to oversee the operations of our graphic design and quality control team.

About the Role:

  • Leverage your expertise in print media design to lead a team of Graphics Designers and QAs that create production-ready assets for digital and print media.
  • Create a collaborative and innovative work environment, fostering open communication and idea sharing among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production process for all print media materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on design projects, promoting seamless collaboration and results-driven outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes, conducting regular sample quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Address any design discrepancies or quality issues promptly and effectively, communicating solutions and progress to stakeholders.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes as needed.

Operational Efficiency and Productivity:

  • Develop and implement strategic design operations plans to enhance team productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall project success.
  • Create templates and style guides as required for new projects, streamlining workflows and improving consistency.
  • Help execute standardized workflows and processes for print media design projects, from concept to final delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to keep the team at the forefront of design innovation, recommending new tools and techniques as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in graphic design and print media, with extensive experience in creating promotional content (flyers, brochures etc)/e-learning/publishing house content domain or any other related domain.
  • Strong understanding of print media design principles and production processes.
  • Expert in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
