Job Title: CNC Machinist Engineer

CNC Machinist Engineers are responsible for creating and optimizing NC programs to ensure efficient production of high-quality components.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop setup sheets, validate NC programs through software, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create NC programs using CATIA V5 based on part geometry and programming guidelines.
  • Validate NC programs through Vericut Software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop setup sheets for machine operators to facilitate production.
  • Collaborate with Aerospace manufacturing engineers on work packages, ensuring clear communication on project requirements and rework.
  • Work closely with production teams and vendors to enhance manufacturing processes and tooling design.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current manufacturing processes and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of NC programs, process plans, and quality reports using MS Office applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in NC programming. Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems, GD&T standards, and precision machining capabilities is essential.

Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
