Early Intervention Specialist Role

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying speech and language delays in children and developing effective intervention plans to support their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screenings and assessments to identify potential speech and language delays in children.
  2. Communication: Develop and maintain clear and gentle communication with children, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
  3. Intervention Planning: Create personalized early intervention plans that address the unique needs of each child, working closely with families and other stakeholders.
  4. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with healthcare providers, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to children and their families.
  5. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of progress and interventions, ensuring timely and effective reporting.
Requirements
  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with speech and language disorders.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis.
