We are seeking a seasoned Java professional to spearhead the development of our backend services. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Java 8/Java 17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud, with hands-on experience in Kafka, Camunda, microservices architecture, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable Java-based applications using Java 8/17.
  • Implementing microservices architecture using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies.
  • Developing secure APIs and services with Spring Security.
  • Integrating and managing asynchronous messaging systems using Apache Kafka.
  • Designing and implementing business workflows using Camunda BPM.
  • Building and consuming RESTful Web Services, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
  • Writing unit and integration tests using JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Working with SQL databases and NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB for persistent storage solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and business analysts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java 8/17.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
  • Experience in developing microservices and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging.
  • Experience in workflow or BPM tools such as Camunda.
  • Solid understanding and implementation of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and CosmosDB (or similar NoSQL databases).
