Job Details

The job focuses on configuration management activities for various programs. This includes evaluating, constructing, and approving engineering bills of material (BOM), as well as reviewing and approving design engineering drawing releases.

Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in developing configuration management processes and procedures related to the configuration management tasking.

They must have a good understanding of CMII principles of configuration management and be able to apply that knowledge to the change management process and configuration identification aspects of the project.

The ideal candidate should also be able to review technical publications for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements such as FAA or other standards.

Other duties include supporting version control management and revisions of documents and drawings.

Requirements
  • Four Year Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 10 years of experience in Aerospace configuration management or related work experience
  • Experience in design engineering and engineering drawing releases
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter and Active Workspace as well as Easy Plan and Opcenter
  • Good understanding of CMII principles of configuration management
  • Experience with the applications like Jira, Siemens solutions, Teamcenter, NX
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile environment and familiar with related processes and tools
