Lead Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Backend Developer to drive the technical direction of our backend systems, lead engineering initiatives, and mentor team members.

This is a key role that requires a strong leader with hands-on technical expertise. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience in designing and developing backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, architecting and implementing scalable microservices, and guiding the team in adopting best practices in backend development and system architecture.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives and drive initiatives in CI/CD, performance optimization, and system reliability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
  • Architect and implement scalable microservices
  • Guide the team in adopting best practices in backend development and system architecture
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives
  • Drive initiatives in CI/CD, performance optimization, and system reliability

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, API design, and microservices

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Docker, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), CI/CD, and AI/ML integration
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
