AWS Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team. As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building data pipelines using Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. Your duties will also include troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues, as well as documenting data pipelines and procedures.

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Develop and maintain relational databases using Aurora Postgres.
  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline development using Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
