Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Security Specialist. This position requires an individual who has expertise in designing, implementing and managing data security solutions using Microsoft Purview.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data governance, compliance management, and information protection capabilities within Microsoft Purview. They must be well-versed in global data privacy regulations such as GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, and HIPAA. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with data security regulations and identify potential security vulnerabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to work closely with various teams across the organization to integrate data security measures into their operations. The Data Security Specialist will provide training and guidance to staff on data security best practices and promote a culture of data security within the organization.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement and manage data security solutions using Microsoft Purview
  • Develop and maintain data security policies, procedures and controls in line with global data privacy regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to integrate data security measures into their operations
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with data security regulations and identify potential security vulnerabilities
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on data security best practices
