Senior Associate Job Description

About the Role:

TresVista is a global enterprise offering diversified services for resource optimization through an offshore capacity model. Its portfolio includes investment diligence, industry research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics.

The Legal department ensures compliance with client, vendor, and third-party agreements, as well as provides advisory support on applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements
  2. Provide time-sensitive legal support and establish contract management teams

Legal Strategy and Advisory:

  1. Implement legal strategy with Senior Leadership
  2. Provide advice to senior management on various legal matters
  3. Review and drive policies in compliance with regulations (e.g., Code of Ethics, HR compliance)

Entity Management, Formation and Structure:

  1. Advise on formation and structuring of new entities, selecting the appropriate entity type and jurisdiction
  2. Oversee board meetings, maintain corporate records, and file necessary reports

Risk Identification and Management:

  1. Identify and consult on legal risks in connection with external partnerships, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property matters

Leadership and Managerial:

  1. Drive improvements in productivity using defined metrics
  2. Devising strategies for hiring and training the Legal team

Requirements:

  • Understanding of various laws applicable to financial services firms
  • Well-versed in corporate legal compliance, policies, and framework
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills

Experience:

  • 5+ years in-house legal experience

Education:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Law

This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to handle ambiguity.
