Patent Prosecution Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of experts in patent prosecution and related matters. As a Patent Prosecution Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the patent portfolio and ensuring seamless interaction with the R&D team for IPR strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent law and experience in drafting, prosecuting, and maintaining patents. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to provide IP clearances to various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing patent filings, drafting, prosecution, and maintenance
- Maintaining patent portfolios and interacting regularly with the R&D team for IPR strategies
- Providing IP clearances to R&D/commercial/non-commercial teams

Required qualifications include:

- PhD in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Biochemistry with LLB from a reputable educational institution
- 13-15 years' experience in patent prosecution, preferably in-house IPR department or patent law firm
- Certification or diploma in patent law preferred, qualification as Indian patent agent preferred
