Assistant Finance Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Assistant Finance Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience in finance management. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across various business units.

  • Manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across business units.
  • Own the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to ensure business growth.
  • Manage tax filings, audits, and statutory compliances to minimize risk.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and ensure robust financial controls are in place.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong command over accounting standards, compliances, and financial processes. They should be tech-savvy with experience in SAP or ERP systems, comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and being detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across business units.

  • Financial Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in finance management, preferably in FMCG industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP or ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
  • Social Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work cross-functionally.
