Corporate Governance Expertise

As a seasoned professional in corporate governance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with standard legal practice and maintaining high standards of governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company compliance with legal practice and maintain high standards of corporate governance
  • Manage and organize board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs)
  • Provide support to the board on key governance issues
  • Taking minutes, drafting resolutions, and lodging required forms and annual returns with relevant authorities
  • Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries
  • Deal with correspondence, collate information, and write reports
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and take appropriate action
  • Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors

Requirements for Success

A successful candidate should possess:

  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and managerial best practices
  • Proficiency in secretarial practices and legal compliance
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with relevant legal software
  • Relevant degree in company secretary or related field
