Job Title:

Pega Developer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Pega developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PRPC, excellent analysis and debugging skills, and be certified as a Pega CSA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop major components of focused solutions
  • Ensure work is delivered following technical, functional, performance and business requirements
  • Have an advanced understanding of PEGA PRPC V7.X/8.X tools
  • Knowledge of PEGA PRPC architecture
  • Translate business requirements into design/application builds
  • Responsible for Performance and Code Quality
  • Implement/Improve automation (in Code, Test, Deployment)
  • Support QA processes and deployments
  • Adhere and Deliver the duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Contributes to best practice definitions
  • Analyzes, Identifies, and logs enhancements/bugs for PEGA PRPC
  • Drives delivery of assigned tasks on schedule
  • Leads and participates in project teams
  • Uses and promotes the use of best practice project management and testing tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-driven and a team player
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Experience in working with onsite teams
  • Creative thinking, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years hands on experience in developing applications using PRPC
  • Very good analysis and debugging skills
  • Pega CSA certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge about any one of software development methodologies

Travel:

Willingsness to travel.

Education:

Master or bachelor's degree in relevant areas.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Latest Pega Capabilities
  • Knowledge of Pega Express Methodology
  • Knowledge of creating UML diagrams for business process modeling
  • Knowledge of requirement management tools like JIRA, DevOps
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
  • Hands on experience on 6.x, 7.x, SOAP/REST, XML, Oracle etc
  • Working exposure on Pega 8.x version
  • Domain knowledge in Financial, Healthcare or Insurance sector
