Job Overview

The company is seeking a seasoned Finance Audit Specialist to join its team. As a critical member of the leadership, you will be responsible for the overall financial management, reporting, and control functions of the organization.

They will possess expert knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, proficiency in using financial management systems, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and Implementing a Comprehensive Audit Framework: Design and implement a comprehensive audit framework aligned with international best practices.
  • Conducting Regular Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify key areas of financial risk and develop a risk-based audit plan.
  • Executing Internal Audits: Execute internal audits of financial transactions, processes, and systems to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing Audit Reports: Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of world-class financial systems, manage grants and project funding, and build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
