Job Description

The role of a Senior Manual Tester is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of software, platforms, and systems. As a key member of the quality assurance team, this individual will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to meet required standards of performance and reliability.

The Senior Manual Tester will work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid background in testing enterprise applications are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies for test readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports for stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior testers and support the QA team in achieving best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools.
  • Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle complex systems testing.
