About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Tester with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing is necessary.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell is essential.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools, is required.
  • A strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills is necessary.
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar, is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is essential.

You will be responsible for:

  • Initiating and developing reusable common-lib modules for UI steps, data-driven testing, SOAP/REST API, JSON parsing, AODA compliance, PDF test, ETL support, and mobile UI testing.
  • Developing frameworks in Java (Maven) and JavaScript (Node.js), using Excel for test data and JSON for object repositories.
  • Architecting RAPID Automation Test Management Platform, a 24/7 self-sustaining system for executing automation regression test scripts.
  • Supporting REST API workflows with automated test case generation, JSON assertions, and data encryption.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing is required.
  • A strong background in software QA methodologies and tools is essential.
