Software Developer Role

The Change and Configuration Management Team at our organization develops software solutions that offer comprehensive configuration management and change management capabilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop new product features using Agile methodologies.
  2. Investigate and resolve issues as they arise in the product or reported by customers.
  3. Document design alternatives, design decisions, development progress, and unit test results in our Change Management system.
  4. Provide information to and work effectively with our Documentation, Quality Engineering, and Performance teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in C/C++ programming languages and ability to perform C/C++ runtime debugging.
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows system APIs for networking, files, and file systems.
  • Strong Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge.
  • Knowledge of at least 2 Windows and UNIX/Linux scripting languages.

Skills:

  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to work well independently and within our geographically dispersed Agile development environment.

Education:

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent degree.
