Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Observability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining observability solutions to improve the overall performance and reliability of our systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about building scalable and efficient monitoring platforms. As an Observability Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement monitoring solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement observability solutions using open-source technologies such as Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Fluentbit, and Vector.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to identify and troubleshoot issues related to system performance and availability.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop monitoring solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in observability and monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with open-source observability tools such as Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Fluentbit, and Vector.
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and system administration.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of database management systems such as Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and TSDB.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Log Analytics, App Dynamics, Splunk, and Sitescope.
