The Placements Head will lead and oversee placement operations across multiple corporates, ensuring seamless delivery of services. This role involves managing and guiding a team of placement managers/executives, ensuring timely execution of RFQs, policy placements, and servicing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic relationships with insurance companies for obtaining RFQs and competitive quotations.
- Oversee the end-to-end placement process including policy placement, post-placement servicing, claims handling, and employee enrolments/deletions in non-EB policies.
- Review and ensure accuracy of government-mandated reports and compliance-related documentation.
- Supervise claims scrutiny and resolution, ensuring efficient servicing of corporate clients.
- Represent the placement team in high-level client interactions with CXOs, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients.
- Drive operational excellence by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and training team members.
- Coordinate and oversee agenda planning, preparing strategic notes and action items for senior management review.
Requirements:
Fundamental Skills:
- Education – Graduate/Postgraduate in any stream (Additional insurance qualifications preferred).
- Experience – Minimum 8–12 years in insurance placement/servicing with at least 3–5 years in a team handling or leadership role.
- Strong product knowledge across Property, Fire, Engineering, and other insurance products.
Key Qualities:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring high productivity and quality delivery.
- Excellent client management skills with experience in engaging CXO-level stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset, self-driven and result-oriented, with a passion for building long-term business impact.
Work Arrangements:
This role is available Monday to Saturday, with an alternate Saturday off.
