Job Overview

The Material Master Data Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of material master data within SAP HANA. This position is responsible for extending new material codes in various depots with relevant details, handling master data maintenance, and utilizing the SAP MDO Tool to create new codes for improved data quality.

  • Extending new material codes in various depots with HSN Code, Shipping point, planned price, standard cost for various materials across India.
  • Performing routine checks on material availability in the system and monitoring stock levels to execute timely stock transfers.
  • Transferring materials using MIGO transactions while adhering to business operations and working extended hours as required.
  • Providing training to end-users on material activities such as creation, change, extension.
  • Supplying production data to create mater data, BOM, Routing, and WorkCentre through BDC Report.
  • Preparing various MDM MIS and DASHBOARD on daily/weekly basis for management review.
  • Meeting defined SLAs for respective activities, including adherence to SAP ECC/HANA requirements.
