Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of backup, high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends and implement betterments to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms to ensure user productivity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
