SLP Manager Role

Job Description

The SLP Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and secure working environment by implementing global standards, managing loss prevention strategies, leading investigations, and supporting compliance with safety regulations.

This role is responsible for protecting people, property, and inventory across operations networks. The SLP Manager acts as both strategist and executor, influencing operations and engaging cross-functional stakeholders to embed security best practices into fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include assessing risk, managing emergencies, and leading rapid response plans. The SLP Manager identifies patterns in shrinkage, non-compliance, and safety issues through data-driven approaches and drives end-to-end loss prevention initiatives from root cause analysis to closure.

The SLP Manager communicates clearly and proactively with internal and external teams, law enforcement, and leadership. This role operates in ambiguous, dynamic environments with high growth and changing priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in security/loss prevention or law enforcement
  • Ability to conduct internal investigations and prepare reports
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of EHS and compliance practices
  • Experience with security technology (CCTV, access control, alarm systems)
  • Proficiency in data analysis (Excel, reporting tools)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications (ASIS CPP, PCI, CFE, etc.)
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies
  • Understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations
  • Prior experience in tech-driven environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks
