Job Title: Visual Merchandising Director

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising (VM) professional to lead our VM team and create visually appealing store displays that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop VM Strategies: Create and implement visual merchandising strategies to standardize and elevate the visual presentation of merchandise across all stores.
  • Display Planning: Plan and execute display calendars, fixtures placement, and signages for in-store and brand promotions.
  • Staff Training: Train retail staff on VM and merchandise presentation to ensure consistency and high standards.
  • Focal Points: Conceptualize and design focal points and windows to showcase key products and promotions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute in-store events and communication initiatives.
  • Cost Management: Monitor costs and ensure VM spends are within budgets, while maintaining a high level of quality and aesthetics.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Consumer Insights: Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Teamwork: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree: Degree in Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Design Skills: Proficiency in design software and tools.
  • Vendor Management: Experience with vendor management and outsourcing.
