Job Title

Candidate Requirements

  • Purpose of Job: We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to oversee our Quality Control teams.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and lead a team of analysts in the execution of quality control activities, including method validation and analytical testing.
  • Support the Head of Department with daily updates, commercial output, monthly sample status, training, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company requirements.
  • Execute and approve different types of QMS, identify scientific root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain laboratory compliance.
  • Plan, execute, and present analysis results to the HOD, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide guidance to team members for improving work quality.
  • In the absence of the HOD, lead all types of QC work and actively participate in departmental improvement programs to enhance output and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like QA, RA, R&D, and PMI to progress allocated tasks with ownership and accountability.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Science or Pharmaceutical field.
  • Strong analytical knowledge and expertise in modern analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, or NIR).
  • Preferably mix work experience in QC, AMV, and AD departments.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic mindset with solid organisational and time management skills.
  • Good working experience in GMP and USFDA/EU audit faced.

Additional Notes:

  • This role will involve managing work across multiple shifts.
  • Travel may be required as per company policy.
