Cloud Computing Expert

To excel in this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree.

Red Hat Certified Architect or equivalent certification is preferred. Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, OCI Cloud Implementation certifications are also highly valued.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant technical role at a large organization is essential.

  • Leading the migration of on-prem workloads to Public Cloud solutions is a crucial requirement.
  • Terraform and Ansible expertise with hands-on application migration experience is necessary.
  • Experience in managing pipelines using Jenkins is mandatory.
  • GITOPS-driven configuration management and deployment skills are critical.

Expertise in comparing services across Public Clouds is necessary.

Understanding cloud adoption models for major cloud services, CPU architectures, storage, and network connectivity is vital.

Knowledge of Windows internals is beneficial.

Depth knowledge of Public Cloud Technologies is required.

API communication understanding (Rest/Soap) and developing new consumers/publishers for APIs is necessary.

Conceptual understanding of infrastructure and DNS (Authoritative and Non-Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and bind DNS, Forwarder), SSL Communication (Handshake of SSL traffic, Cipher Suites, Enc Algorithms,) is beneficial.

Active Directory (Security OUs, policies), Certificates (SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL), Load balancers / Site Selectors / Firewall, Vault Tools (CyberArk / Hashicorp), High Availability knowledge is desired.

Excellent hands-on experience in configuration management, orchestration, and IaC tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform) is required.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Bash / PowerShell, Python is beneficial.

Understanding cloud connectivity principles, SDWAN, private connectivity is necessary.

Strong understanding of Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus) and Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is required.

ELK and its beats (Audit beat, File Beat), OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark), Agile methodologies, and its ceremonies is beneficial.

Strategic thinking with Research and Development mindset and adequate project management understanding is desired.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are essential.
