The Master Data Product Manager role is a crucial position that plays a key part in overseeing the setup of complex SAP data structures to ensure accuracy, integrity, compliance, and efficiency across systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation and serving as an SME for data structure definitions, flows, and access rights models
  • Managing, maintaining, and optimizing business processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of SAP data structures
  • Sherpaing projects to ensure seamless data flow across systems and platforms
  • Collaborating with IT and business teams to identify and resolve complex data structure governance issues
  • Working cross-functionally on processes such as change control, deviation support, and issue troubleshooting
  • Monitoring and analyzing success metrics for data setup, implementing continuous improvements
  • Ensuring strict compliance with internal governance policies and industry regulations

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8+ years of experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data/process governance, data operations in a biotech manufacturing context, and expertise in Material Master, Production Master, and Plant domains.

Must-have functional skills include strong business and technical understanding of SAP ERP, experience with cross-functional process governance and data strategy, and proficiency with MS Office, Project management tools, and Data visualization tools.

Preferred skills include experience with SAP S/4, SAP MDG, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on data accuracy and process optimization.
