Embedded Firmware Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust firmware solutions across multiple projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for various applications.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for all project phases.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of firmware.
  • Implement verification techniques to ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to align on specifications and performance metrics.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile workflows.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C; familiarity with C++ is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of MQTT and communication protocols.
  • Experience with processor selection and implementation of interfaces, including UART, CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, RS-232, RS-485, MODBUS, and Ethernet.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontroller families such as ARM Cortex-M, STM32, NXP Kinetis, Nuvoton, PIC32 & Open CPU.
  • Proficient in designing embedded components like device drivers, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), and RTOS-based stacks.
  • Working knowledge of GIT for source control and collaboration.
  • Experience in managing tasks using sprint-based development cycles.

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
