Senior RF Engineer - Complex System Integration

This role is responsible for designing, testing and validating complex radio frequency (RF) systems to ensure optimal performance across a wide range of frequencies and environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and integrating RF systems, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, filters, amplifiers and signal processors.
  • Developing test plans and performing RF testing and validation, including S-parameters, power, gain, noise figure and VSWR.
  • Analyzing system performance using RF simulation and analysis tools.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues at system and component levels and recommending design or process improvements.
  • Collaborating with design, PCB layout and mechanical teams to ensure RF performance meets specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of RF systems integration, RF hardware development or related engineering roles.
  • Solid understanding of RF concepts, including impedance matching, modulation, filtering and signal propagation.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators and power meters.
  • Awareness of RF simulation tools, such as CST, HFSS or MATLAB.
  • Strong knowledge of active and passive RF devices, cables and connectors.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC and their effect on RF systems.
