Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Software Quality Assurance and Release Manager to lead our software quality and release efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Procedures: Define and implement comprehensive testing procedures to ensure software quality.
  • Test Automation: Choose and implement test automation tools and strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Release Readiness: Certify and approve software readiness for production releases, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Jira Work Items: Ensure all Jira work items include agreed-upon definitions of done (DoD) to ensure proper text coverage.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the development and product teams to ensure successful software releases.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and release management.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira and other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This role involves defining testing procedures, implementing test automation, and certifying readiness for release to production. The Software Quality Assurance and Release Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of our software releases.
