Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications by identifying defects and developing test cases to verify functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality software products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, ensuring seamless integration with development and deployment processes.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium and Java, leveraging expertise in agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure compliance with requirements, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Identify and report defects to the development team, providing detailed steps to reproduce the issue and contributing to the improvement of overall product quality.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation testing, preferably with a focus on DevOps practices.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and quality assurance methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, as well as familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality results under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++, with experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies, including BigQuery, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and services, including AWS and Azure.
