Job Description

The role involves leading and managing consulting engagements with prominent banks, financial institutions, and corporates. You will be responsible for independently developing and validating IFRS 9 models, computing ECLs, and enhancing the approach to ECL and provisions.

Key responsibilities include demonstrating knowledge of loan products, credit risk areas, default and recovery rate modeling, and statistical methods. You will also lead day-to-day project execution, hire and mentor team members, design project plans, and provide regular updates to senior leaders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial Services Industry Knowledge: Understanding of products and exposures in the financial services industry (banks/NBFC/insurance)
  • Credit Risk Modeling: Knowledge of concepts related to credit risk modeling, PD, LGD, ECL, etc.
  • Methodologies and Tools: Experience of various methodologies used for modeling default rates, credit scores, recovery rates, etc.
